The nominations for the fourth annual British Restaurant Awards (BRA) have been announced and Cambridge even has its own category
The establishments in and around the city which are nominated for Best Restaurant Cambridge are:
- Parker’s Tavern, Regent Street, Cambridge
- Vanderlyle, Mill Road, Cambridge
- Mercado Central, Green Street, Cambridge
- Midsummer House, Midsummer Common, Cambridge
- Restaurant Twenty-Two, Chesterton Road, Cambridge
- Trinity, Trinity Street, Cambridge
- The Oak Bistro, Lensfield Road, Cambridge
- The Rupert Brooke, Broadway, Grantchester
- Stem & Glory, Station Road, Cambridge
- Bedouin, Mill Road, Cambridge
Elsewhere, the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Levi Roots, Ainsley Harriot, Gino D’Campo, Aldo Zilli, Heston Blumenthal, and Simon Rimmer have also made the shortlist.
From January 20 to August 9, the public nominated their favourite restaurants per city and region across the UK. The restaurants that receive the most amount of nominations are shortlisted and released for the public to vote.
