We are working with our Swedish project partner, Nordregio, to stage an innovation summit in Stockholm on 21-22 February 2018. The first day of the event will focus on building innovation clusters and partnerships in a Post-Brexit world and the second day will look at the circular economy, sharing best practice from around Europe. The second day will also provide an opportunity to take part in study visits to a testbed for smart city innovation in Stockholm and a Circular Technology Cluster.

Along with the other HIGHER project partners from Catalunya, Sweden (Stockholm County), Lithuania, Slovenia, Italy (Marche and Abruzzo regions), Portugal (Norte region) and Greece (Central Macedonia), delegates will have an opportunity to meet and network and hear presentations on transnational cooperation, smart specialisation, interregional cooperation post-Brexit as well as to share best practice examples and ideas on clustering, transnational partnerships and circular economy.

If you would like to attend as a delegate or as a speaker, or would like to find out more about the summit and the HIGHER project, please contact Michael Barnes, Head of European Programmes at michael.barnes@gcgp.co.uk
