Hatch Enterprise support underrepresented entrepreneurs to imagine, launch and grow sustainable and impactful businesses through tailored support, community and partnerships

Hatch historically worked predominantly with London-based entrepreneurs, but are expanding their support entrepreneurs in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

They have a few programmes coming up for entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds, such as women and other marginalised genders, disabled entrepreneurs or founders from an ethnic minority. These founders may also run businesses that have a social or environmental impact.

Hatch offer Hackathon, Launchpad, Incubator and Accelerator programmes – which cover idea and start-up stage, through to growing and scaling a business, and range from 1 day – 12 weeks. Through the programmes, you’ll be able to access expert-led workshops, connect with other entrepreneurs, get one-to-one consultations, and apply for grant funding of up to 5k.

They have just finished recruitment for our September programmes and are welcoming applications for January 2023. You can view their brochure here for further details on all of their business support opportunities. They also recognise the ‘Cost of living crisis’ and have a limited number of bursary places available.

Hackathons are happening from September – November. These are deep dive sessions for those looking to dedicate some time to learning and applying all the key components of running a business to an idea. Tickets are £10 but if you use the code growthhub at the checkout you can get it for FREE! https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/cc/lean-business-model-canvas-hackathons-at-hatch-1063379
