BEIS launches competition as part of the ‘Together for our Planet Business Climate Leaders’ Campaign

As part of the UK Government’s Together for our Planet campaign, BEIS want to celebrate the small businesses taking the most innovative action to go green and become a net zero business by 2050! Share the actions your business has been taking to tackle climate change and you could be in for a chance to attend the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow and win an exclusive prize package worth £4,500 to help develop and grow your business.

The best entries will be judged by a panel of experts including the government’s Net Zero UK Business Champion Andrew Griffith. All the shortlisted businesses will be invited to a special Heroes of Net Zero awards celebration at the COP26 conference in Glasgow on 2 November.

Who can take part?

You must be a small business based in the United Kingdom with 50 employees or under.

Winners will be judged in two categories:

Micro – 1-9 employees

Small – 10-50 employees

You must make a public commitment to become a Net Zero business by 2050.
