Let’s Get South Cambridgeshire Active Grant for fitness and wellbeing instructors

As part of the Healthy You programme, independent fitness and wellbeing instructors are encouraged to apply for South Cambridgeshire District Councils ‘Let’s Get South Cambridgeshire Active grants scheme’ to help fund new or existing health and wellbeing activities in the district.

The Council wants to help stimulate physical activity programmes across its villages and communities within all age groups and genders. Physical activity is good for both physical and mental health, and it’s known to be a protective factor against many lifestyle-related illnesses such as depression, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, many types of cancer and dementia.

Grants up to £300 are available per programme. A provider can apply to run more than one programme in a village or across numerous villages.
