Since 2012, Recruit Mint Ltd has offered recruitment services to Peterborough, Huntingdon and the surrounding areas. Continued growth has led them to seek out new premises to expand the team and provide current staff with a more comfortable workplace. The grant has been used to equip workstations, install a new telecoms system and filing, among other essentials required when moving into new premises.

This expansion has created a number of new jobs.

Signpost 2 Grants is funded by the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP, and is designed to support companies with a desire to grow. Neil Darwin, Chief Executive of the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP, commented:

“Recruit Mint helps local businesses find the workforce they need to thrive. A growing client base has encouraged Recruit Mint to seek new premises to be able to expand their team.  With support from Signpost 2 Grants funding this transition will be as smooth as possible. Staff welfare is extremely important, so the focus on details to provide employees with a pleasant place to work is great to see.”

The new office equipment is now in place at Recruit Mint and helping them to further increase their client base and their team.

The Recruit Mint team said:

“The funding we received from Signpost 2 Grants enabled us to furnish and equip our new city centre office in Peterborough to an extremely high standard. As employees continue to look for companies with the right feel and culture, it was paramount we got the office looking and feeling right to allow us to attract the right personnel. The proof of the effect this has had is evident in the fact that our head count has increased 140%. Being able to create that positive and comfortable working environment played a vital role in recruiting these new employees.

“We have also been able to add two new sectors to the three we had already established, and Signpost 2 Grants has enabled us to add Recruit Mint Education to our successful portfolio of specialisms.

“We continue to go from strength to strength within the increasingly-competitive recruitment industry. A lot of this stems from the platform Signpost 2 Grants gave us. Therefore, thanks to them, we can continue to improve peoples’ lives on a much larger scale.”
