People with an idea for a start-up business, or those who own a business that has been trading for less than 12 months, can apply for a free help and support programme, which includes a grant of up to £10,000.

Fenland District Council is delivering the Fenland Start-Up Business Support Programme as part of its commitment to economic development and supporting businesses.

The programme is funded by the UK Government’s Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) Shared Prosperity Fund thanks to a successful bid by Fenland District Council in partnership with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.

The aim of the Fenland Start-Up Business Support Programme is to support the creation of new businesses in the district, resulting directly in the creation of jobs, innovation and growth therefore improving the local economy.
